Although we have tried to make Les Oursons as safe and accessible as possible please be reminded that:-
We cannot be responsible for the loss of any personal belongings whilst staying at the chalet. Although in our experience of Champery, theft is virtually non-existent, we ask you to ensure you lock up after yourselves whenever heading out.
The driveway can be slippery and icy in winter please take extra care in such conditions. We have a path clearer during snowfall times but please take it easy.
The stairs from our ground level to the mid floor are steep. Please take extra care when coming up or down. For those who may have difficulty, you can access the chalet via the French doors on the middle floor balcony by going around the back of the chalet and being let in by one of your party.
Since the internal stairs in the chalet are steep and the exterior approach to the chalet may be icy, we recommend that infirm people do not take the chalet.
When using our wood burning stove please only use dry wood meant for burning. Any other resinous woods or treated woods can explode and or give off toxic fumes.
The chalet is predominately wood structured, and although we do have a fire alarm, we ask that you take extra care when lighting the stove or candles. Please never leave candles burning throughout the night.
The chalet is non-smoking. Smokers please use the balcony, and kindly dispose of your butts properly and don’t chuck ‘em over the banister…
Please always make sure you have fully comprehensive travel insurance cover. We cannot accept responsibility for any accidents, injuries or losses sustained at the resort or in the chalet. In particular, we do not accept responsibility for accidents or injuries which arise from use of the exterior approaches or interior stairs.
For your comfort and hygiene, the chalet has a no outdoor shoe policy in the bedrooms and living areas. Please remember to bring a pair of slippers or socks for wearing around the chalet with you. |
